Attention parents and students:

This web site was created to assist 9th grade biology students with the course content.  From the unit tabs above, supporting materials such as images, downloads, videos, and other links are provided to enhance the subject matter, providing another venue for learning.

The following documents are the mandated state standards for instruction for this biology course.  Though more than this will be taught in this course, these main ideas will be on unit tests and the EOC (End-of-Course final exam).  Use this to help you learn.  Biology 1 teachers follow these standards closely, as should you.

  B-1 Support Doc (Inquiry)

B-2 Support Doc (Cells)

B-3 Support Doc (Energy)

B-4 Support Doc (Heredity)

B-5 Support Doc (Evolution)

B-6 Support Doc (Ecology)

Also, please read the letter to parents!
